On March 27, I was crowned Miss Teen Texas International 2010. My brand new sister queens are Natalie McLarty, Mrs. Texas International and Ashley Smith, Miss Texas International. I am incredibly honored to be a part of the International Pageant family and consider it a blessing to be able to promote my platform "Very Influential People Creating Hope for the Intellectually Challenged (V.I.P. C.H.I.C.). I want to thank my family and friends for believing in me and generously supporting my organization V.I.P. C.H.I.C. Together we can raise awareness, volunteer and financial support to worthy organizations such as The ARC of Texas, Special Olympics and the Buddy Walk.
